Our default policy is "no refunds," to discourage those without conviction from buying a TRMNL. We are a small company and will have to raise prices if our free shipping is used as a free trial of our products. To test the platform generally on hardware you already own, create a free virtual device.
However, for customers in the European Union there are additional protections.

14-Day Return Right
Changed your mind? Return unused device within 14 days for full refund of purchase price. Return shipping is at your expense.
2-Year Statutory Warranty
All devices shipped from our Berlin warehouse include 2-year warranty coverage under EU consumer protection law (Gewährleistung). This covers manufacturing defects present at time of delivery.

Accidental damage (drops, water exposure)
