TRMNL (OG)
While the TRMNL (OG) has a built-in triangle cutout for easy wall mounting with a nail or a 3M Sawtooth Picture Hanger Strip, the power of TRMNL is the ability to go anywhere a WiFi signal will reach and provide months of uninterrupted value.
To assist with that, the community has designed a variety of mounts. If you do not have access to a 3d printer, check your local library or maker space for a free or low-cost option!
Of course, you could also do more direct modifications, such as gluing magnets onto the back of the device to attach the device to a refrigerator. The TRMNL (OG) case is a soft-touch ABS plastic, so a CA (Cyanoacrylate) Glue, more commonly known as "Super Glue", is a great option for attaching magnets permanently.
TRMNL X
The TRMNL X introduces even more flexibility with mounting solutions designed to fit any space. For those seeking a minimalist, low-profile setup, the device can be paired with an adhesive magnetic or metal sticker. This allows the X to snap directly onto the surface for an almost completely flush finish.
Alternatively, for a more permanent installation, a dedicated U-mount is available that can be screwed directly to the wall. The X Dock snaps securely into this mount, providing a sturdy 20mm standoff.
